Oaks, plane trees… The health of our city’s trees can now be monitored by satellite

With satellite data, a CNRS award-winning geographer, a biologist and an imaging specialist have taken a close look at the trees in the city of Rennes. The aim: to identify, in addition to physical observation, trees that are not doing well, such as oak trees after the heatwave. A very useful aid for gardeners.
